Here’s a fun craft to do with the kids, a contact paper sparkle snowman! This craft is appropriate for children aged 3+. Prep the craft beforehand using the following supplies:
SUPPLIES
- Contact Paper
- White sparkles
- Cardstock
- White body
- Black hat, eyes, mouth, buttons
- Brown arms
- Orange Nose
- Red Scarf
I cut the snowman with my Silhouette CAMEO, but this is not necessary. A snowman is easy enough to draw.

STEP 1
Cut a piece of contact paper a little larger than the size of your snowman. With the sticky side up, place the snowman in the center of the contact paper.

STEP 2
Add the snowman’s body parts. Note that the hat and scarf go underneath the outline of the snowman .

STEP 3
Now for the fun part, add the sparkles! I suggest putting the sparkles into a shaker otherwise you’ll have a BIG mess.
STEP 4
Cut out the snowman taking special care around the arms.

STEP 5
Adhere the contact paper sparkle snowman to the window if there is enough stickiness left on the contact paper. If not, place a small piece of tape in an inconspicuous place, like as behind the hat, to help it stick to the window.

I love how the sun catches the snowman’s sparkles and makes him twinkle. What other projects can you think of that uses contact paper and sparkles? Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
